Our goal is to deliver the best products at the lowest possible prices. We have been doing just that in the OEM field for many years with an impeccable reputation. Read our feedback to see what our customers think. 


The privacy of your customer data, orders and credit cards are important to us. We will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party. We will only send you email newsletters if you explicitly opt in.

Your credit card details are processed in real time by an independent payment gateway authorized by our bank, using online secure encryption.


What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature. When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways: To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested. To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests. To quickly process your transactions. To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature. If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please refer to the "How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?" section below. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Visitors who register or participate in other site features such as marketing programs and 'members-only' content will be given a choice whether they would like to be on our e-mail list and receive e-mail communications from us.
How do we protect visitor information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.
Do we use "cookies"?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.
Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term "outside parties" does not include our business. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please email your intent to "support@wyred4sound.com" or you can click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email newsletter we send out. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production. To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping. Third party links In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work). Changes to our policy If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. Delivery Times

We will process your order within 1 business day following payment in cleared funds. Order cancelations may be subject to fees. Payment by online banking cannot be checked until the next business day. Orders for modified products are typically completed within 2-3 days. We will send you an email notifying you when your order has been shipped. Please allow 2-7 days for ground delivery domestically, or 1 week internationally.

Returns Policy

We run a low overhead operation to be able to offer such exceptional pricing. Orders for modified products cannot be canceled once shipped. Orders for modified or unmodified products canceled prior to shipment are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Please contact us to obtain an RMA#. 

We are audiophiles ourselves. We understand that audiophiles are in constant search for the Holy Grail. Although our products are on par with those costing many times over, we cannot guarantee that you will find what you’re looking for. The Internet has changed the way high-end products are sold. We spend a long time with each one of our customers to help them make the correct choices for their systems. Many of our modified and stock products have been reviewed in addition. Please do your research before making a purchase decision. We cannot guarantee that a product's sonic characteristics will fit every customer's taste.

We do offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on most Wyred 4 Sound products. We would hope that when you make a buying decision, it is a buy-to-keep, not buy-to-try decision. Due to our low prices and inability to handle returns, we have to attach a 15% restocking fee for those who decide they’re completely dissatisfied with our products.  If you choose to return the original product on an exchange basis (without paying a restocking fee) the return policy is not valid on the exchanged unit. NOTE: Due to the use of expensive, specialty parts and extensive labor required, the STP-SE Stage 1 and Stage 2, as well as the DAC-2v2SE, are NON-RETURNABLE.

If you receive a unit and decide that it does not sufficiently suit your needs we do have an upgrade path. Provided the product is still in perfect condition and it is with-in the first 30 days from purchase we will credit you the unit price less a 5% fee towards the new unit. Please note that any personalized or customized units based on customer's request(s) are not returnable.

If a new stock product suffers freight damage or happens to fail within the first 3 business days, it will typically be replaced. If we cannot replace it with an identical unit, we offer a full refund. After 3 days, defective stock units must be repaired under the manufacturer's warranty.

Any modified gear that arrives and does not work will be checked and repaired in a rush manner. We pay half of the freight charges in the small percentage of cases where this occurs. All modified goods are professionally checked before shipment and it is at our discretion whether to repair or replace them should they not work on arrival. Such cases are rare and almost always minor freight-related issues since all such products are checked and work flawlessly before we ship them.

On receipt of a new product, we highly recommend package inspection for any obvious shipping abuse.  Any damages found should be pointed out to the delivering agent to ease the initiation of a damage claim.  If a product arrives with freight damage, it is the customer's responsibility to report it to us within 3 business days of receipt so a claim can be started. If you wait longer than that, we may not be able to instigate a claim. We do work with every customer to resolve freight damages in a timely manner. In 30 years of operations, we have rarely had any issues if we were informed about problems in a timely manner.

We realize that some customers must try before they buy. We then refer them to their local dealers and insist that they buy from that retailer if they have taken valuable time and used their demonstration facilities to come to a purchase decision. We realize that our approach is not for everyone, yet it is the only way to offer the exceptional discounts we do.

Finally, we have not gathered the enormous positive feedback because we do not work with our customers. We strive to work with each and every individual situation just as our positive feedback attests to.  If you feel that there is anything we can do to help a particular situation, please feel free to ask. 

**Please note** Manufacturer warranty will be voided if any modifications or unauthorized repairs are carried out without our consent.

B-stock/Trade-In, demo or used products. There is no returns allowed on B-Stock/Trade-In, demo, used or promotional products, unless expressly stated. 


Promotional discount grace period 

Occasionally we will have a sale on products. The timing of any sale is at our discretion. To accommodate those who happen to purchase a product within two (2) weeks of that product going on sale, we agree to credit the difference in price toward a future purchase.  The credit must be used within six (6) months of date issued.  The item(s) purchased must be at least twice the price of the amount of credit used.



Brand new items must be purchased within one year of their production date to be considered "A-stock" and qualify for warranty under these terms. "A-stock" Wyred 4 Sound-branded products sold on or after January 1st 2013 will hold a 5 year warranty for the original purchaser which begins on the date of purchase.* New Remote controls and other accessories are warranted for the first 30 days after date of purchase. DAC upgrades are covered under warranty for one year to the original purchaser only. Displays are warranted from a year of purchase. We strongly recommend dimming or turning off the display when not in use. We do require that a valid warranty registration form is submitted on our website within the first 30 days of purchase to activate the warranty. If the product is transferred from the original owner to a second hand owner it will have a 1 year warranty which is valid from the original date of purchase by the original owner. B-Stock, used or demo units aren't covered under the same Return Policy as a new unit. Unless otherwise noted, these units carry a 6 month warranty from the time of purchase

If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Wyred 4 Sound will either (1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. Wyred 4 Sound may option that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that Wyred 4 Sound provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by Wyred 4 Sound, assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Wyred 4 Sound's property. Parts provided by Wyred 4 Sound in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in products for which warranty service is claimed. When a refund is given, the product for which the refund is provided must be returned to Wyred 4 Sound and becomes Wyred 4 Sound's property. 


Wyred 4 Sound does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Wyred 4 Sound is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product's use. This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with non-Wyred 4 Sound products; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (c) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Wyred 4 Sound; (d) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Wyred 4 Sound or a Wyred 4 Sound Authorized Service Provider; (e) unauthorized removal of cover (f) to a product or part that has been modified to significantly alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Wyred 4 Sound; (g) if any Wyred 4 Sound serial number has been removed or defaced; (h) to damage caused by excessive voltage beyond rated power supply capacities.
