Remedy Digital Reclocker

Connect your digital source to your DAC with the Wyred 4 Sound Remedy. Designed for two-channel PCM audio, Remedy uses a Femto-grade clock to reclock the digital signal before passing it to your DAC.

With optical and coaxial inputs, plus optical, coaxial, and BNC outputs, Remedy fits between a compatible digital source and an external DAC. A 9V DC power supply is included.

How Remedy fits into your system

Connect your source’s optical or coaxial digital output to Remedy, then connect Remedy’s digital output to your DAC:

Digital source → Remedy → DAC

Your source must provide two-channel PCM audio, and your DAC must accept Remedy’s configured output sample rate.

Will Remedy work with my equipment?

Remedy supports two-channel PCM, not surround-sound formats. Check your source’s audio settings and digital connections before ordering.

Originally designed to address issues with Apple TV’s digital audio output, Remedy can also be used with compatible TV digital outputs, CD transports, audio streamers, and other sources that provide optical or coaxial two-channel PCM audio.

For TVs and streaming devices, select two-channel PCM rather than a surround-sound format, and confirm that your signal path provides a compatible optical or coaxial output. Your DAC must support Remedy’s configured output sample rate.

Choosing the output sample rate

Remedy’s output is factory-configured to 96kHz. If your DAC requires a different sample rate, you can request a factory setting of 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 192kHz when ordering.

Check your DAC’s supported input sample rates before choosing. If you need an alternative setting, include your requested sample rate in your order comments.

Included power supply and upgrade options

Remedy includes a 9V DC power supply. For a substantial performance improvement, use Remedy with the DC Recovery or PS-1 Modular Power Supply. These optional upgrades let you take Remedy’s performance further.
